Even the inside looks kind of like a seedy bar but we chose to sit on the deck overlooking the bay and it was nice. They had "well used" furniture on the yard by the bar and a ton of stairs to climb. From the exterior it looks like a run down bar and normally I probably would have never chosen to eat there. My daughter noticed the Flying Harpoon got great ratings on Yelp so we decided to try it. We were looking for a good, local restaurant to eat at in the Gulf Shores area.
